Mini subjects were discussed, including acidophilic esophagitis, biologic therapy for food, allergies, vestibular, migraines, hypoglossal, nerve stimulation, therapy for obstructive, sleep apnea, reflux, and rem sleep, but the height of the evening were the discussions revolving around cognitive impairment and cardiovascular morbidities involving older patients. In particular significant new evidence that persistent hearing impairment significantly impacts the rate of cognitive decline in elderly and or demented patients.

Plans were made to elaborate further on these cognitive and cardiovascular comorbidities related to hearing loss in the elderly and making these discussions on our website in the future
